Hi, my name is Jenny Trezise and I am the owner, handler and breeder at Trezridge.  The prefix "TREZRIDGE" was founded in the 1970's by my grandmother Dot Trezise who was one of the few foundation people to import, show and breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks within Australia.

In keeping with tradition I am now carrying on the family prefix prefix and so here we are today... however with a few small differences, being that I started off with Akitas but have now found my "perfect fit" breed with PHARAOH HOUNDS.

I only have 1 Pharaoh Hound at present and that is "Rani" or Multi-Best In Speciality Show Australian Champion Vicoridge Dreamgirlin WA.  Rani is a very classy young girl and has certainly brightened up our lives here at Trezridge.  In 2012 we are hoping to expand our numbers with a litter planned mid-year.

A bit about me - I'm a very small outfit and live in a suburban house not on a kennel property.  I'm not into breeding every year or just for the sake of it.  My aim when I do breed is for the continuation and improvement of the breed.  I fully research my breed lines to ensure that I can produce quality, sound puppies otherwise I just wont do it.  Right at the top of my list are soundness (both mentally and physically), quality (in type and movement) and last but by no means least temperament.

Because I only have a couple of dogs they have the benefit of living in a home environment with me and are somewhat spoilt as they are my family!!!  I believe that puppies raised in a home environment & around other dogs helps them to learn social skills and adapt to situations better - it all starts in the litter box, not at 8 or 12 weeks old.  Also they get that extra care and heaps of one on one attention, that I think larger kennels cannot always provide.

In short, my dogs are family first & show dogs second...
and I wouldn't want it any other way!!!!
